The RPC service defined by the netservices plugin is hard-coded to use UDP, which should add an option to use TCP.

Fixed in 3.2.4 and 4.0.0
RPC services now has protocol options: any, tcp, udp
"any" is the default, first checks via tcp, then via udp if tcp fails.
