If you have an HQ Agent 3.2.0 installed, the resource name contains the version so it's something like "HQ Agent 3.2.0".
If you then upgrade to another version (like 3.2.1), AND if you install to the same location so that the installpath does not change, there will be nothing in your auto-discovery queue to import. The version will get updated correctly, but the name of the resource will not. Therefore, you will have resources named "HQ Agent 3.2.0" when they are actually 3.2.1 agents. This is very confusing.
