Description

Modified server-log4j.xml is not get upgraded when server upgrade performed

When changes are maded to the server-log4j.xml in the server conf directory, it is not upgraded to the new installation path when a server upgrade is performed. A new file is exists.

Expected Result:
Changes to the server-log4j.xml file are maintained when server upgraded

Actual Result:
Changes to the server-log4j.xml file are not persisted during server upgrades

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Install Hyperic server
  2. Modify server-log4j.xml in server conf directory
  3. Upgrade Hyperic server
  4. Note server-log4j.xml changes are not persisted
