Description

Installer should be more generic when asking for DB information. The flow should be more like this:

1) MySQL
2) Oracle
Enter the DB Type: 1
Enter the DB hostname: <hostname>
Enter the DB port: <port>
Enter the DB username: <username>
Enter the DB password:
Enter the DB name: <dbname>
Override the jdbcUrl [jdbc:mysql://hostname:port/dbname] (enter to continue):

  1. or if the DB is oracle
Override the jdbcUrl [jdbc:oracle:thin:@hostname:port:dbname] (enter to continue):
  1. At this point HQ should validate the DB information, if it is incorrect it should re-ask
  2. After, HQ should be smarter by using this information for future questions if needed

Installer should also check prior to asking these questions for fail conditions such as if a port is already in use. If it is then it should prompt for an alternative or offer to abort. It's not good flow to answer a million questions and then have the installer abort losing all the information entered.

Installer should also offer a long randomly generated string as the default encryption key. I often see very weak or common encryption keys used as the question doesn't really explain what it is for or that it'll not need to entered again manually.

The new installer needs to be tested on all the different database types, also need to check that if the entered DB information is incorrect the installer asks again for the DB information after presenting a proper error message.
