Nipuna,
I successfully installed and ran the latest build using the bundled postgres db. I have a feeling the problem you have may be related to an error in the DB configuration. In the server log I see that the db url ends with hq45xdb, is this intentional. Please verify the DB configuration, and if that does not work try the latest build.
In such cases it would be good if you could give us access to the machine.

Nipuna, something does not add up for me here. I moved the logs aside and restarted each server. For both servers I'm getting an error connecting to the mysql db, so the postgres setup is definately mis-configured, and the mysql setup seems to have either a wrong connection url or wrong credentials.
I didn't understand your comment about running hq-setup, when you run hq-setup you are asked for the connection url (at least for mysql setup), and this setup is configured to run against a remote mysql db, so it's not the default.

Nipuna,

I have tested the build from 12/30/11 on Apple OS and linux with built-in db and I also tested it on linux with mysql. I had no problems with this installer or starting a running the server. Seems like an environment issue on your side.
